Urban Potters is a community pottery for independent and hobbyist potters in South London. It is a well lit open space where members can develop their projects and share their experience. Our sister studio, Urban Potters Classes, offers a range of classes for beginners, or those still wanting to develop their skills with the help of a tutor.

We are located just down from Camberwell Green on the ground floor of a new residential development. There is a bus stop at the entrance to our courtyard with connections to London Bridge, Elephant & Castle, Brixton, Clapham, and beyond.

We have 8 wheels for throwers, big tables for hand builders, multiple sinks and generous shared shelving for work in progress. Members also have their own dedicated shelving downstairs.

We fire free of charge to stoneware temperatures but can also do specialist firings by arrangement for a fee.
