Membership - OVAL

Our membership programme is potters looking for a little more time and independence to develop their practice. Our friendly pottery is fully equipped, flooded with natural light and 5 minutes from Oval tube station.

How it works

Once you have signed up for our pottery membership, you will get the following benefits:

  • 12 or 18 hours membership per week (see options below)

  • Air-con, heating and hot water

  • Open 7 days a week

  • Modern electric wheels (Shimpo)

  • Slab roller, extruder, spray booth and tools provided

  • Shelving for work-in-progress 

  • Dedicated personal shelf 90cm long x 45cm deep x 30cm high

  • Free use of studio glazes (currently 10)

  • Stoneware firings included. We fire to cone 7, 1240 degrees (fair usage applies)

  • Members exhibition and open studio twice a year

  • Professional quality stoneware available to buy at the studio

  • Members responsible for covering own work (plastic bag provided)

  • Members responsible for own reclaim (plaster batts available to purchase)

Deposit:

A £200 refundable deposit is required. The minimum commitment is 2 months, with 1 month’s notice required to cancel

Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm
Bank holidays 11am – 5pm (closed Christmas Day, Boxing day & Easter Sunday)
