It’s been a few years that I wanted to try ceramics, but I could never find a place that inspired me as most studios I found are under arches without natural light. Then came Urban Potters, a bright new contemporary studio, with natural light, where I can come to unwind. As it’s in Camberwell, it’s easy to reach from Elephant & Castle, Brixton or Vauxhall, and I like that it’s in a residential open courtyard, insulated from traffic, whilst close to the main road, so it feels safe when leaving the studio late in the evening.
